Are you new to the House of Refuge Ministries? We are excited to have you here and look forward to being a part of the family. First off we thank God for sending you here. We feel you are here under divine appointment and God has a purpose for sending you.

We want you to always feel welcomed in your new home. We encourage you to plug yourself in and get to know your fellow members of the body of Christ. We believe that the first few months of becoming a part of a ministry are crucial to your growth and longevity. It is important to get involved in church attendance and explore different ministries so you can not only see where God will have you to work but also to get to know people and the ministry as a whole.

One of the first steps is to attend our new member’s classes. These classes offer you a chance to get the overview of the vision God has given us, who to contact, and the different ministries we offer are just a few things you will learn during new member classes.

Also it is important to stay informed of any events we have coming up.  We have many different ways for you to stay abreast as to what we are doing in the ministry.  You can follow us on Twitter, Facebook, through church announcements, or our church newsletter.

Also during this time we ask that as you are getting familiar with your new family and even after that you pray for God to show you the areas you will be most effective in. Also pray for the blessing of the Lord to be upon us all and the ministry.
